Scope/Purpose:
As a Sales and BD Manager for Government Trade Services in the country, drive the sales and revenue growth, ATIC Sales and margin management. You will work closely with all internal stake holders to deliver our Total Quality Assurance promise consistently with every customer every day. You will ensure compliance to relevant policies (Code of Ethics, Anti Bribery Policy, SOPs), as well as developing and implementing strategic sales plans that expand the company’s customer base and solidify its presence. The focus is developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics.

- Account and client relationships management with the importers and exporters
- Maintain client retention and regain lost client
- Sell and upsell existing and new services and conduct BD activities for strategic B2B and B2G opportunities
- Meet and exceed revenue, margin, new customers, and key activity targets
- Assist in developing relationships with key government departments
- Maintain sales recording in the CRM and provide daily/weekly/monthly activity reports as required.
- Develop synergy and alignment within GTS stakeholders (Management, Sales, Operations and all other functions) and foster cross-business collaboration with other Business Lines within company to generate potential business opportunities
- Build strong relations with excellent communication both internal and external
- Customer focused and be able to drive a first-class service with Zero Defect
- Technical ability to understand testing and government standards and stay up to date with technical updates
Business Development
- Tap market potential and stay abreast of all opportunities
- Identifying potential customers/ clients for the services of the division in co-ordination with his team.
- Ensure all sub-business streams perform as per plans
- Develop an environment with robust systems, processes and customer delight which will enable and encourage business opportunities
- Achievement of planned team objectives through continuous monitoring and review of the team performance and timely extension of support
- Continuously work with the team for business development through ATIC sales, up-selling, and identifying new customers
Education & Experience
- A proven track background in working in the sales field, preferably in the fast-moving consumer goods market
- A successful and verified track record in leading a sales department to achieve its goals or alternatively be an account manager looking for their next challenge
- Able to identify opportunities in sales and profits and possess knowledge on how to build a laser focused approach to achieve or exceed set sales performance targets
- Skilled in data analysis and managing customers using customer relationship management (CRM) as this position involves working with a lot of data and prospects
- Previous experience in the TIC Industry (in Government and Trade Services will be a plus)
