Sales Engineer – Steel Casting

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and technically competent Sales Engineer with experience in the steel and sand casting industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing customer relationships, and promoting steel and sand casting solutions across various industries including oil & gas, mining, cement, power, marine, heavy engineering, and industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for steel and sand casting products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, industrial clients, and distributors.
• Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable casting solutions.
• Review engineering drawings, material specifications, and customer RFQs.
• Prepare techno-commercial quotations and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and planning teams to ensure timely order execution.
• Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and technical discussions.
• Follow up on quotations and convert inquiries into confirmed orders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence reports.
• Resolve customer concerns related to product quality, delivery, and after-sales support.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, technical seminars, and industry events.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• MBA in Marketing is an added advantage.

Experience

• 3–8 years of sales experience in the steel casting, sand casting, foundry, or heavy engineering industry.
• Experience dealing with industrial OEMs, EPC companies, and manufacturing clients.
• GCC market experience is preferred.
