Production Supervisor – Chemical/Process Manufacturing

Industry Experience: Candidates must have prior experience in the chemical/process manufacturing industry, preferably in printing inks, paints, coatings, pigments, resins, adhesives, or similar chemical products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily production activities as per schedules and targets.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, batch sheets, quality standards, and ISO requirements.
• Monitor blending, mixing, filtering, and packing operations.
• Plan and allocate manpower effectively across shifts and maintain discipline and attendance.
• Resolve operational issues and coordinate with Maintenance for machine breakdowns.
• Maintain batch records and ensure complete traceability of materials and finished goods.
• Conduct pre-production checks and post-production inspections.
• Ensure adherence to industrial safety standards and proper PPE usage.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for in-process checks and final product approvals.
• Support the training of new operators and cross-skilling of team members.
• Drive productivity improvement, process optimization, and downtime reduction.
• Prepare daily production reports and shift logs.
• Monitor consumables, utilities, and equipment readiness.
• Implement 5S, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing practices on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and overall efficiency.
