Our client is a leading provider of electrical, HVAC, and industrial testing, inspection, and certification solutions across the Middle East. They help clients achieve international safety, performance, and compliance standards through comprehensive LV and equipment testing, HVAC services, CompEx training, as well as inspection and certification programs.

They are looking for a Business Development – Deputy Manager for Riyadh, KSA to drive growth and expand their services in the region.

Position Purpose:

  • Position will be responsible for developing the business for the responsible territory. Incumbent will be responsible for driving the business from the existing customer, identifying the new business opportunities, achieving expected revenue and profit growth in the territory. 
  • Person will focus on strategic direction in identifying the new stream in the business line in the territory and strengthen the customer relationship management.
  • To secure formal approvals and technical recognition from regulatory authorities and key end users, ensuring market acceptance of certificates issued
  • To support the expansion of technical scope, new service offerings, and regional market penetration initiatives
  • Focus will be to develop and increase the growth of ASTA, HVAC, Industrial and CompEx training in Saudi and other assigned countries.    
  • Regular interaction/ visit with existing customers, Utilities, authorities and consultants
  • Generating new opportunities
  • Coordinate closely with technical, certification, and laboratory teams to ensure capability alignment and smooth project execution
  • Increasing market reach by focusing on untapped market and retain existing customers
  • Maintain sales related data in CRM tool
  • Ensure timely, professional, and commercially strategic responses to customer inquiries, proposals, and technical discussions. 
  • Coordinate handover to operations upon order confirmation to ensure smooth project initiation
  • And all other sales related activities

Essential Functions/ Job Responsibilities:

  • Tap market potential and stay abreast of all opportunities 
  • Help business stay abreast of market trends and developments
  • Identifying potential customers/ clients for the services of the division in co-ordination with his team.

Education & Experience:

  • 5-8 years of experience; preferably from relevant experience in the areas of LV & Equipment testing, HVAC, CompEx Training, inspection & certification services selling. 
  • Has the ability to identify business opportunities and execute plans to realize the associated revenues. 
  • Must be self-motivated, assertive, and ability to work independently to achieve personal and team revenue/sales goals:
  • Strong organization, customer relations, teamwork, and time management skills 
  • Good computer skills, 
  • Ability to travel within the region and throughout the ME when required.
  • Maintains company values and demands the highest standards of conduct from self and others. Projects a professional and polished image that inspires confidence and trust. Acts in a professional and ethical manner in all business interactions.
  • Bachelor’s in electrical engineering (preferred) and a Management Degree in Business Administration.
