We are seeking an experienced Cards Product Manager (Credit & Debit) to join our client team in Hong Kong. This role will involve defining and executing product strategies to scale credit and debit card portfolios, managing end-to-end product lifecycles, and driving customer-centric innovations. You will collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional card products and services that align with market trends and customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Scaling: Develop and execute product roadmaps to expand credit and debit card portfolios across diverse customer segments, including premium and digital-first offerings.
- Cards Product Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle of credit and debit card products, including pricing, rewards, and feature enhancements. Collaborate with stakeholders to design compelling customer propositions and manage vendor relationships.
- Marketing & Go-to-Market: Partner with marketing teams to develop acquisition campaigns, retention initiatives, and cross-sell strategies. Leverage customer insights and analytics to drive targeted promotions and optimize campaign performance.
- Account Support & Value-Added Services: Provide operational support to partner banks and identify opportunities for value-added services such as loyalty programs, consulting, and merchant partnerships.
- Analytics & Performance Management: Track and analyze key performance metrics, identify growth opportunities, and prepare strategic recommendations for stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in payments, card programs, fintech product management, or card scheme operations.
- Proven experience launching and managing credit and/or debit card products for international banks, preferably in Hong Kong.
- Strong understanding of the cards business, portfolio management, customer lifecycle, and payments ecosystem.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Fluent in Cantonese and English; Chinese language proficiency is mandatory.
