Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key clients across the rental, construction, oil & gas, and defense sectors.
Promote genuine company and Perkins spare parts to maximize sales and improve equipment reliability and performance.
Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth in aftermarket services.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term partnerships with clients by understanding their operational needs and providing effective solutions.
Conduct site visits to assess customer requirements and recommend optimized spare parts stocking plans.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, providing technical support, and offering tailored product and service solutions.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations to identify potential business opportunities.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights.
Recommend improvements to sales strategies and inventory planning based on customer demand and market conditions.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in product support sales within the diesel generator industry.
Strong knowledge of and hands-on experience with Perkins diesel generators, including sales, spare parts, and service support.
Proven track record in spare parts sales; experience in engine repowering will be considered an added advantage.
Experience working with clients in rental power, construction, oil & gas, defence.
