Parts & Service Sales Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Parts & Service Sales Engineer with a strong background in diesel generators, particularly Perkins engines, to drive aftermarket sales, develop customer relationships, and expand business opportunities across the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with customers in the rental, construction, oil & gas, and defence sectors.

Promote and sell genuine spare parts for company products and Perkins engines.

Identify new business opportunities and achieve sales targets for spare parts, servicing, and aftermarket solutions.

Conduct customer visits and site inspections to understand requirements and recommend suitable spare parts and stocking plans.

Provide technical support, identify spare parts using catalogues, and recommend appropriate solutions.

Build long-term customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to identify growth opportunities.

Prepare regular sales reports, market analyses, and customer feedback updates.

Coordinate with internal service and parts teams to ensure effective customer support and timely delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in parts and product support sales within the diesel generator industry.

Strong knowledge of Perkins diesel engines and generators, including spare parts, sales, and service.

Proven experience in spare parts sales; engine repowering experience is an advantage.

Experience serving rental power, construction, oil & gas, or defence customers.

Good knowledge of the UAE market and established industry contacts.

Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.

Technical ability to identify spare parts through catalogues and recommend suitable products.

Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and achieve sales targets.

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Preferred Candidate: A target-driven sales professional with hands-on knowledge of Perkins engines, diesel generator spare parts, and aftermarket services in the UAE.
