Job Summary

The Admin cum Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the organization, ensuring smooth business operations, efficient resource utilization, and compliance with company policies. The role will also manage transportation operations, fleet coordination, and logistics support to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation services.

Key Responsibilities

Administration Management

  • Oversee daily administrative operations and ensure smooth office functioning. 
  • Manage office facilities, maintenance, utilities, and vendor contracts. 
  • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures. 
  • Monitor office budgets, procurement activities, and cost control measures. 
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure operational efficiency. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and health & safety standards. 

Operations Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise operational activities to achieve business objectives. 
  • Monitor operational performance and implement process improvements. 
  • Manage operational resources, workforce allocation, and productivity. 
  • Prepare operational reports and present performance metrics to management. 
  • Handle customer and vendor escalations related to operational matters. 
  • Support strategic planning and business continuity initiatives. 

Transport & Fleet Management

  • Oversee transportation operations, fleet utilization, and vehicle scheduling. 
  • Manage company drivers, transportation staff, and related administrative activities. 
  • Ensure timely transportation of employees, goods, and equipment as required. 
  • Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules, registrations, insurance, and compliance documentation. 
  • Optimize transport routes and fleet efficiency to reduce operational costs. 
  • Coordinate with external transport vendors and service providers. 
  • Track fuel consumption, vehicle expenses, and transportation budgets. 
  • Ensure adherence to traffic regulations, safety standards, and company transport policies. 
  • Investigate transport-related incidents and implement corrective actions. 

Team Management

  • Supervise administrative, operational, and transportation staff. 
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development support. 
  • Foster a positive work environment and ensure effective team collaboration. 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field. 
  • 5–10 years of experience in administration, operations, and transport/fleet management. 
  • Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, fleet management, and logistics coordination. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/transport management systems. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
